The formula is gentle enough for daily use. However, if you are new to chemical exfoliants or have sensitive skin, it’s best to start by using the pads every 2-3 days. As your skin builds tolerance, you can gradually increase the frequency to daily use for optimal pore-refining results.

The pads use a powerful, dual-action approach to exfoliation:

  • AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is water-soluble and works on the surface of your skin, effectively sweeping away dead skin cells to improve texture and smoothness.
  • BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate deep inside your pores to clear out trapped sebum and impurities, which helps to prevent breakouts.
These pads provide a form of chemical exfoliation, which uses gentle acids (AHA and BHA) to dissolve the bonds holding dead skin cells together. This is generally considered to be a more effective and less abrasive method than a physical scrub, which relies on rough particles that can sometimes cause micro-tears and irritation on the skin.
