WHAT IS ALIDYA?

Alidya is an injectable solution which is used to treat and prevent cellulite, and its visible effects, such as orange-peel skin. This product contains ingredients, which will help to restructure the adipose tissue (body fat), so that it is less visible. Alidya will also prevent the formation of new cellulite.

WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF CELLULITE?

It is normal for body fat to be present, but sometimes this fat builds up and pushes against the skin, resulting in cellulite and uneven, dimpling skin. However, hormonal factors play a large role in the development of cellulite, and genetics determine the skin structure, texture and body type. Your age, body fat percentage, and the thickness of skin also affects the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite is most commonly found on the:

• hips
• thighs
• abdomen
• buttocks
• breasts

Cellulite also affects women more than men due to different fat, muscle and, connective tissue distribution. Cellulite is not harmful, and is completely normal. However, Alidya can be used to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

WHAT DOES ALIDYA TREATMENT INVOLVE?

Most patients will need between 7 and 12 weekly applications of Alidya to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The number of applications will depend on the severity of cellulite in the area. Results can last around 12 months, but treatment can be repeated after a year.
